And the utter elation we all felt after it

How many of us tried to replicate that cartwheel?

His old schoolboy team Crumlin United shared this lovely tribute

From Crumlin to Wolves to Inter Milan to Spurs to LA Galaxy. Not bad for a lad from Tallaght, eh?

And Gamestop paid tribute to him in a way only Gamestop could

So many memories of scoring as Robbie Keane on FIFA.

This about sums up how we’re all feeling <3

Aside from his sporting achievements, let’s remember that he’s responsible for the best Toy Show moment in recent years

And that he has the best family tree

And the work he has done with the Special Olympics over the years <3

In short? We’re going to miss you, Robbie.

Thanks for everything.
